                                         Odds of a Mockingjay
             
                          "May the odds be ever in your favor"
                            That's the motto from the rich,
                            Trying to encourage the poor.
                            But in other terms it says to us
                            follow our laws or pay the price,
                            fight against us,
                            then expect to have a gun pointed at your head
                            begging at a peacekeeper for one more chance
                            at the dice.
                           
                            Here we are once again, the reaping.
                            An event that occurs throughout each district,
                            one of each gender selected from a glass bowl.
                            Their faith?
                            To hopefully be the last one standing, the only one alive.
                            It's a living hell just to amuse the rich.
                            What are the odds being in my favor?
                            Not so great, I'm one of the capitol's primary targets.

                            I stand up for others
                            I stand right now for the weak,                                                                                                              I risked my life...
                            to saved the ones I love dearly.
                            I am a symbol,
                            a symbol of hope.

                            People depend on me to make a difference,
                            a difference that will end our starvation,
                            rationing, and to end the capitol's ways
                            once and for all.
                            They call me, The Mockingjay.
